Christmas greeting card, “The Lord Is Born,” by Angelo da Fonseca

Original folded Christmas greeting card. Its front is printed in pale rose/copper ink on a dark-brown ground, showing the Virgin Mary holding the Christ Child in a stylised Nativity design, with decorative geometric borders, a halo and small animal figures. The front carries the signature “A. da Fonseca ’59.” The interior has a printed Christmas/New Year message and is personally signed “Fr. C. A. Joachim Pillai O.M.I.” The reverse is printed with the title and publication credit.
