Snippet’s shirt pattern pieces

A surviving group of hand-cut textile pattern pieces for Snippet’s shirt costume. The pieces are marked in pink or purple ink with handwritten labels including “collar”, “sleeve”, “yoke” and “Snippet’s shirt”. Together they provide rare evidence of the practical methods used to design and construct clothing for the Snippet marionette.
