The Grand Vizier marionette puppet

Original stringed marionette depicting the Grand Vizier from the play Aboo Hassan – A Legend of the East, produced by The Jonathan Laurey Marionette Company in 1949–50. The figure wears a tall black fabric headdress with side tassels and a long black moustache. His costume comprises a red-orange and yellow floral-patterned robe, a yellow lower garment, black leggings and black-and-white shoes. Painted modelled head and hands; strings are present. Approx. size: about 20 in / 51 cm long.
