Mary Hayes letter to Joy Laurey regarding a Mickey Mouse Weekly Jungle Club show
Typed letter from Mary Hayes to Joy Laurey, dated 15 May 1952. Hayes writes that Mr Taylor has told her Joy has agreed to put on another show for the “Jungle Chums” and asks to fix a definite date, suggesting the first half of July. The letter notes that 4.30 p.m. had been the best time of day the previous year and expresses hope that the children will enjoy the outing again. The original Mickey Mouse Weekly envelope is addressed to Miss Joy Laurey at York Gate Hall, Broadstairs, Kent, with that address crossed through and a handwritten forwarding address for The Puppet Studios, Tiptree, Essex.
