Zenobia Mr Turnip Character Soap in Original Box
A novelty character soap modelled as Mr Turnip, supplied in its original yellow printed cardboard display box. The packaging presents Mr Turnip as a “Television Favourite” and describes the figure as “Modelled in pure white toilet soap.” The soap is moulded as a standing Mr Turnip in jacket and trousers, with painted facial details, tie and buttons. Surviving together with its original window box, this is an unusual example of licensed-style character merchandise associated with the popularity of Mr Turnip on television.
