Southern Singer marionette puppet
Stringed marionette puppet known as Southern Singer, wearing a red-and-white gingham dress with lace trim, white shoes and small red headpiece, with painted head and hands, cloth body and wooden control bar. Approx. size: about 19 in / 48 cm tall for the puppet figure, excluding extended control strings and control bar. Acquired March 2021 from Bamfords Auction after being found under an agricultural museum bus, and restored by The Joy Laurey Archive.
