Folded four-page programme for the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress’s Children’s Party at the Mansion House on Saturday 4 January 1947. The programme prints the company name as “Jonathan Laurie Marionette Company”; the archive uses the canonical spelling Jonathan Laurey. In the Long Parlour, the company presented A Christmas Fantasia, including Way Down South, Hoodoo the Snake Charmer, The Enchanted Toyshop, Patchwork’s Balancing Act, Dance of the Flying Boots, Spellbound, A Voice to Remember and Christmas 100 Years Ago.
