Folded four-page programme for the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress's Children's Party at the Mansion House on Saturday 4 January 1947. In the Long Parlour, the Jonathan Laurie Marionette Company presented A Christmas Fantasia, including Way Down South, Hoodoo the Snake Charmer, The Enchanted Toyshop, Patchwork's Balancing Act, Dance of the Flying Boots, Spellbound, A Voice to Remember and Christmas 100 Years Ago. The programme also records Magical Fun With Uncle Jim, Punch and Judy in the Salon, dancing in the Egyptian Hall to the Royal Artillery Orchestra, and teas in the Old Ballroom.
