The second released annual associated with the BBC children's television programme The T.V. Whirligig. The cover is titled “Mr Turnip's T.V.” and features Mr Turnip above a television set alongside other Whirligig personalities; the lower panel lists H.L. and Mr Turnip, Humpty-Dumpty, Geoffrey Robinson, Sooty, The Penguins, Steve Race and Peter Butterworth. The internal title page gives the fuller title “Mr Turnip's T.V. Whirligig”, credits the annual as devised by Michael Westmore, and credits drawings by “Maz”, Antony Hart, Neville Dear, Peter Butterworth and Joy Laurey. It was published in London by Ariel Productions Ltd, with acknowledgements to the B.B.C. and its Children's Television Programmes. The cover artwork is signed Antony Hart.
